The exhibition will be on display from November 14, 2025, to January 10, 2026, at the a.i.p. gallery – project space.

From Quiet to Still
This series of paintings was created on the theme of “From Quiet to Still.”

The works are abstract and poetic, with minimalist components; the motifs are hidden compositions that focus on the depth of the color gray. 
The process and development that take place when working with the distinctive color gray, through lighter shades of gray to shades of white, vary in a spectrum of hues, combined with open and layered areas. 
In some works in this series, there are spartan color components that either irritate or complement the composition, such as bright red or pink.  The transparency of the layered paint reveals the structure of the areas underneath and creates new spaces, an open plan with a gradient.  The process of giving direction to the random aspect of the moment. 
The additional drawing on the surface is an essential element of these works; these fine lines connect, emphasize, and complete the motif. 
The pencil drawing is the last action in these works before final completion, as it is in the paintings or silkscreen prints.
